Brad Townsend’s Falcon Killed by Eagle. As you may have heard or witnessed, tragedy struck at the Utah Sky Trials on Saturday. Brad Townsend’s falcon Rob had just put on a spectacular flight, one of the best of the day, and chased the pigeon out of sight. Rob pursued with vigor and eventually caught the pigeon. The 2004 version of the Utah Sky Trials was a great success! You know it was a good day when you wish you had smeared on your sunscreen, and your soda didn’t freeze! There were many excellent flights. The birds flew high and the pigeons flew fast. Friday was a day for sun glasses, while Saturday had more of a chilly edge to it with a slight breeze.
