Monday – Saturday, February 1-6, 2016.

There is significant interest this year in the Merlin Meet, so we have moved it up a few days. Al Ross, Jeremy Bradshaw, Jason Bosen, Arnaud Van Wettere, and others will spend these days flying their merlins. Several falconers from Canada and Mexico are coming as well.  If you are interested in flying a merlin, kestrel, sharpie or other micro falcon or hawk, drop me a note on the contact page.

We expect the Merlin Meet to continue to grow over time and may soon include European merlin flyers coming over to fly with us.

Bring your merlin, accipiter or anything you want to chase small game and join us for a day of micro falconry.

Jeremy Bradshaw will also have copies of his book The Passage Merlin available for sale.  Al Ross, and other visitors will continue our general “fireside conversations” as well.

Merlin Meet Details

When: Monday, February 1, through Saturday February 6, at 9:00 am.  Meet at the hotel at 9:00 and we will go from there.

Where: We will meet in the lobby of the meet headquarters, the Best Western Timpanogos Inn in Lehi, Utah.  We will meet there for a few minutes and then split up to fly.

There will most likely be those who want to fly merlins after the Sky Trials on Saturday as well. Look for the merlin people at the Sky Trials, and make plans with them there.
