The Utah Sky Trials lost a great friend today in the passing of Andy Doran. Not only was Andy a multi-year winner, he was very generous in sharing his thinking and supporting all aspects of the Utah Sky Trials. He will be greatly missed.
To honor Andy’s memory, the Utah Sky Trials is donating money and pictures for the Wall of Remembrance at the Archives of Falconry in Boise. We will also have a page dedicated to Andy on our new website.
The picture in the header of the website for this year has been of one of Andy’s birds. Knowing his health was declining, and also knowing he didn’t want the attention of people knowing about it, we at least gave attention to one of his birds.
Thanks Andy for your contribution to the Utah Sky Trials and to falconry in general. You added a lot of class!
